Payment process

Payment instruction on Ripid app

To pay and register to join Mentors’ group, customers need to follow these steps:

    • Step 1: Access to Ripid app on mobile devices. If customers do not have Ripid app yet, access https://ripid.vn/install to install the app.
    • Step 2: Login with the appropriate credentials and access to the main page.
    • Step 3: Click on Community.
    • Step 4: Browse and select a Mentor’s group in the Community that customers want to join.
    • Step 5: Click Join group button.
    • Step 6: Select a payment method of Bank transfer or Payment gateway to conduct payment:
      • At Bank transfer, customers will be guided to transfer to Ripid’s bank account that is displayed in-app.
      • At Payment gateway, customers will be navigated to Ngân Lượng payment gateway to conduct payment. Customers will be required to input valid payment information.
    • Step 7: After successful payments, customers will be notified on the app and can start accessing to Mentor’s group that customers have registered.

Customer accounts

  • Customers must create an account and register on the Ripid app before making any purchases.

Payment method

  • Ripid accepts Visa, Mastercard, JCB, and Napas credit/debit cards, QR code payments, and internet banking payments.
  • Payments are processed through [third-party processor], a PCI-compliant payment gateway. No payment information is stored on Ripid's servers.

Pricing and plans

    • Ripid offers a free subscription plan with basic features.
    • Additional paid offerings include:
      • One-time payments to join Premium groups.
      • Monthly auto-renewing Premium subscriptions enabling advanced features.
    • Pricing is shown in VND. International payments are accepted and converted to VND.

Checkout process

  • Customers initiate purchase in the Ripid app and are redirected to [processor's] secure checkout page.
  • Processor handles collecting payment details, tokenizing, authorizing the payment, and confirming transactions.
  • Ripid receives confirmation of successful payment and grants access to the paid offering immediately.

Receipts and payment history

  • On successful payment, a confirmation message is shown in the Ripid app.
  • An order confirmation email is sent to the customer with details of the transaction.
  • Customers cannot access payment history or receipts after checkout. Ripid reconciles transaction history internally.

Recurring subscriptions

  • Monthly Premium subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled by the customer through the app store.
  • No reminder messages are sent before renewal charges.
  • A confirmation email is sent after each successful renewal payment.

Refunds

  • Refund eligibility and process is outlined in the Refund Policy. Approved refunds are issued via bank transfer.

Security and compliance

  • Processor is certified PCI-DSS compliant for securing payment information.
  • Ripid staff are trained on payment security procedures and protocols.

Backup process

  • In case of payment processing errors, customers are prompted to retry the transaction.
  • If the payment system experiences downtime, payments are queued and processed when service resumes.
